Assisting with personal growth and development at home or work
Newid pronounced "Newith" is Welsh for change. I chose this name not only to reflect my heritage but also to reflect that change is the only constant in life. We all travel with it, yet all our experiences can be profoundly different.
My name is Andy, I am a professionally trained Humanistic Integrative Therapist and Supervisor.
I work in private practice and am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP) and a Accredited member of the National Counselling Society (NCS)
I work with older children & adults on a one to one counselling basis in a relaxed, peaceful setting within a 15 minute walk from Tiverton's thriving centre, with quaint cafe's and individual shops.
Before going into private practice I was within the NHS. This experience has proven to deliver some of the most extensive and diverse training to date.
As I've grown and developed my private practice, through my training, taking ideas. Expanding them in ways that have introduced a gentleness, that allows playfulness within therapy and supervision.
Expanding emotions/trauma and difficult experiences doesn't always need to be approached directly. Being a integrative therapist means we draw on all the theory's, finding the right approach for you and discovering the tools that will help you to navigate through or to light up a different path.
I am a qualified, experienced therapist. I adhere to a strict ethical framework set out by the BACP (Brisish Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy) and The National Counselling Society (NCS), who continually regulate for good practice. I am fully insured and DBS checked for your own peace of mind.
Adhering to these values ensures that I work consistently, with my client's best interests always forming the structure of my work.
